Obituary

Thaddies Lewis Butler, 90, formerly of Fayetteville, NC, dedicated his earthly life to serving others and building a nurturing community. Born to Johnny and Mary Butler, Thaddies was a cherished husband to the late Doretha Butler for over 30 wonderful years, and the two evolved into highly respected pillars of their community.

Thaddies was the heart and soul behind Butler's Funeral Homes, where he offered compassion and solace to families during their most difficult times. His gentle spirit and unwavering commitment to honoring the lives of others allowed grieving families to feel cared for and supported, ensuring that every farewell was as dignified as it was heartfelt.

In addition to his remarkable work in the funeral service industry, Thaddies also profoundly impacted local communities through Butler Daycares Centers. His dedication to the well-being and development of children laid the foundation for countless futures, providing a safe space where young minds could flourish. Thaddies understood that nurturing the next generation was one of the greatest gifts one could offer to the community.

As a proud veteran, Thaddies served honorably in the U.S. Army at Fort Bragg, NC, dedicating over 60 years to his country and our community. His selflessness and resilience inspired those around him to strive for greatness and to serve others with dedication and kindness. Thaddies Lewis Butler's legacy lives on through the lives he touched, the families he supported, and the community he nurtured in service.

As we gather to share stories and reflect on the many lessons he taught us, let us be inspired to serve one another as Thaddies served throughout his life. Together, we celebrate a life well-lived and memories that will continue to inspire and uplift our community for generations to come.
