Ellen Tanaé Young

Melody Tanaé  Young transitioned on October 20, 2019.

Melody was born October 16, 2011 to Marcus & Jessalyn Young at Cape Fear Valley Hospital in Fayetteville, North Carolina. 

She leaves to cherish her parents Marcus & Jessalyn Young, her brother Marcus Young Jr., grandparents Barbara Johnson of Fayetteville, NC; Vanice & Estella Ball of Fayetteville, NC; Johanna Young and Berry Washington both of Pennsauken, NJ; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. 

Melody was a very happy child, she had a smile that would brighten anyone's day. Melody has been a fighter since she was born, although family was told that she would only survive 6 months, God has other plans and she lived until her eighth birthday. 

Despite her short time on earth, she was deeply loved and brought immense joy to all around her. She will truly be missed.
