With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of our beloved son, Charles L. Castelle, on July 5, 2026, at the age of 34.

From his earliest days, Charles brought immeasurable joy, laughter, and love to all who knew him. He was known for his kindness, generous spirit, and a smile that brightened the lives of others. His compassion, strength, and steadfast love for family and friends will remain with us always.
As a son, he was deeply loved and cherished. He enriched our lives with lasting memories, laughter, and unconditional love. Although his time with us was brief, his impact endures.
He found fulfillment in both work and life, consistently making others feel welcomed, valued, and loved. Through his humor, generosity, and quiet strength, he touched many lives and leaves a legacy of kindness.
Charles L. Castelle is survived by his loving parents, Rosemarie Johnson and the late Charles Lee Castelle, and his stepfather, Kenneth Dickerson. He is also survived by eight siblings: Melsawn Johnson, Lamika Weiss, Nicole Johnson, London King, Charles Johnson, Yusef Edwards, and, in memory, Ronald Thomas and James Johnson. Charles leaves behind two nephews and five nieces: China Johnson, Summa Thomas, Zimmerah Weiss, Zairean Weiss, Iyana Weiss, Yuself Edwards Jr., and Nash Thomas. Numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives, and dear friends mourn his loss deeply.
While we mourn the loss of his presence, we find comfort in knowing that his love endures in every life he touched. We will always carry his memory, honoring him through love, compassion, and the moments we shared.
